As the school year comes to a close, we can reflect on the many positive experiences that have occurred for our St. Thomas Aquinas community. Together we’ve learned much and shared challenges that will remain with us in the years to come. The strength of our St. Thomas Aquinas community and the passion to make our school a wonderful place of learning and faith for our children makes “STA” a truly special place. Special thanks to our parents and school council who have contributed in ways, small and large, to our activities at STA. Thanks for getting your children to school on time each day and helping in the learning process; the partnership between home and school is important. I would like to thank our hard working and caring staff members who have made a huge difference to our students. Their commitment is outstanding and our students are the beneficiaries. Thank you for providing rich and engaging, well-rounded experiences for them and knowing that education is about joy, helping others and fostering curiosity, along with the development of social skills and faith so needed to succeed. For these, and many other things, we are truly grateful. In closing, I take this opportunity to congratulate all students of STA and especially our Class of 2018 for a great year. You have allowed me to be a part of your daily learning and share in many of the great experiences that you have had. I wish you happiness and success in the new challenges ahead for you. Please be sure to take time with your family to talk, play and pray together. I wish you all a very happy, safe and enjoyable summer.
